Operation "Clean the canal from Nantes to Brest"
On Thursday morning, the 14th of February, seven students of our group of valeur ajoutée (a student activity at ISEG Nantes) went to the north of Nantes to clean a portion of the canal from Nantes to Brest.
It was a coordinated effort. We collected the waste on the banks of the canal and put them in bin bags that we had taken with us. Then we sorted out the recyclable waste in a waste collection centre. Finally, we threw away the non-recyclable waste in bins. This experience was interesting. In a wonderful landscape and under the winter blue sky and sun all the students had fun contributing to the preservation of the banks of the canal from Nantes to Brest, which is a haven of biodiversity.
