On the occasion of the « Valeur Ajoutée », about the environment  and sustainable development subject, Iseg had organized a special week of events (the last week of March 2008) in order to make students aware of this important societal and general awareness challenge. With our group of students, we wanted to share our work with all our comrades and make them realize about the reality of the living condition of the fishermen (in la Turballe).

Indeed, our file was about the fishing and all the different problem fishermen have to face at the time. As we went to the harbour of « La Turballe » interviewing the fishermen, we made an exhibition on our report, showing pictures and explaining how the harbour of « La Turballe » is experiencing the challenges and the effects of the new European law on fishing quotas. We also made a short movie, filming « the auction », the movie was perfect to show the reaction of the fishermen and how welcoming they were with us.

The Iseg school had also organized an activity on the subject of the environment by creating a stand: « Nantes shoreline ». The idea was to recreate the atmosphere of a beach, with the sand and the beach, with many activities like sailing boats (canoe). It was a good way to attract people, and make them interested in the subject.
