During the Semaine Evenement at ISEG, focusing on projects that are geared towards Environmental initiatives, our group of students tried a practical implementation test of our project.

For the implementation part, on the 26th March 2008 for the « SEI » (Semaine Evenement ISEG), we put up a notice in the hall of our school. This notice was a copy of the one that had already been used by the city of Besançon to fight  the chewing gum problem in their city.  

 Around this device, we displayed paraphernalia explaining our project and information about this system. We explained our project to the students at ISEG and to some speakers present for other events. During this day, we saw several persons who put their chewing gums on our notice instead of throwing it away and littering the streets. So this operation was a great success.

We hope that our approach with the city of Nantes to introduce this system on a larger scale in the city of Nantes will meet  the same success as in Besançon... and as at ISEG.
